Installation & Setup

The installation and setup is really easy. You will get a cable running from the spotlight into an extension that is included in the spot light kit. This extension also acts as a splitter device which will be used when connecting spot light-to-spot light.

The stakes will attach to the bottoms of the spot lights and are to be put firmly into the ground. You can also use the fitted backings with screws to drill spotlights into walls or other objects. This gives you the option to place and adjust your spot lights to the optimal position.

The other end of the extension will connect to a power supply which will then be connected to a power socket. The Hue Bridge must also be within a range of 30 feet of the first light bulb to be able to connect.

You will connect the light bulbs by installing the Hue app on your smart phone or tablet and the app will search and find the light bulbs. Once the app finds the light bulbs, you are good to go!
